Beach wedding ceremony in Corsica

L&R chose the genuine and luxuous Domaine de Murtoli located in South of Corsica, between Ajaccio and Bonifacio, to plan their wedding and gather all their closed friends and family. A place deeply rooted in the Corsican nature and far away from the Parisian chaos.

They enjoyed an out-of-time moment having a 3-days event.

The first night set the tone.
Guests were welcomed while the cicadas’ warbling echoed around the mountains and the everlasting flowers gave off a pleasant smell. Chic but casual dress-code, the ambiance was fixed : authenticity, Corsican charms, rythms broadcasted by a local Corsican live band.

The day after was time for ceremony and emotion. This second day was enhanced by an amazing ceremony set up on the private beach of the property. Intimate and idyllic decor following the real Corsican traditions, an arch created with driftwood and a lot of fresh flowers, haystacks used as natural benches allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful ceremony comfortably.
The dinner were planned on the second larger beach of the estate. Seating dinner under a stretch tent, feet-in-sand, braziers, campfires, live band and thousands of lanterns put along the beach to sublimate the starry sky.

The third and last day, after hangovering, the time to brunch had come. Relaxation, farniente standing in the sea for a lunch offering divine Corsican flavours : fresh cheese Bruccio tempuras, Corsica homemade charcuterie, Bastelle, citron ice cream, etc… just fantastic!
