Subtle finesse wedding in Saint-Rémy de Provence
She is from Taiwan, he is from France and they met in London where they have been working for a while. They quickly felt in love and the wedding was obviously the next step.
Born in South of France (Drome area), Alex wanted his wedding to be hold in this magnificient backdrop and the lovers easily decided to seek a wedding venue in Saint-Remy de Provence area. Land of Van Gogh, this village is a real paradise, nestled in the heart of Alpilles mountains. It offers a gorgeous view on neighbouring nature and provencal atmosphere.
Planning a wedding in south of France is our job : Julia & Alex wished to welcome their guests such as great holidays and supported by Dites Moi Oui, they decided to rent a private villa and take it up such as it was their own property during some days.
Endless romantic and focused on elegance, Julia was easily fixed on a stylish and sophisticated colours pallet : blush pink and silver grey. We selected shiny grey tablecloths and carefully chose nice tablewares too, mixing modern and classical items.
Julia aimed at having a real princess wedding and we worked a lot on amazing tall floral arrangements composed mainly with hydrangeas, lisyanthus and English roses and circled by a collection of candles. Unfortunately, the meteo wasn’t the perfect one and wind blew in early evening which obliged us to cut the floral arrangements and changed them into a low half-sphere set in the middle of the table.
Hopefully, everything was running perfectly and even if the meteo was not the best, all guests enjoyed the party with a refined meal supplied by the famous Helen Caterer. As a starter, a trilogie of courgette flower stuffed with pesto, Foie-gras with Provencal nuts and truffled velouté. As a main, beef tournedos with Sarawak pepper gravy, mashed potatoes mixed with black virgin olive oil. For all gourmands and food lovers, a stunning desserts buffet with a range of sweets such as redberries tart, cupcake, basil-strawberry flavoured meringue, fresh peach and basil soup, lemon pie, olive oil macaroon, etc…
The party ended under the sky where bride and groom had their loving and passionate firstdance followed by all the guests until the early morning.
