A Rustic and Chic Wedding in Provence

Dotty & Jon –  Eygalières (South of France)

Shabby chic wedding in Provence, France

Both fan of travel, Dotty & John found each other.
Born in Asia, this young American couple has spent life to visit world and loved this so much !
They have shared their current life between New-York & San Fransisco and decided to add some days in France to enjoy the « mode de vie à la Française ». They felt in love with our beautiful country and consequently decided to plan their wedding day in Provence.

Supported by Dites Moi Oui agency, they discovered the magnificient village of Eygalières, located in the heart of Alpilles area, in deep Provence, south of France. This charming small village is built on top of a low hill and offers a great panoramic view on natural landscapes : vines, olive trees, lavender, etc…

Our future bride easily decided to create a sober wedding design in this breathtaking Bastide :  chic and elegant using raw materials like linen, wood, neutral palett colors like grey, beige, linen and nice but unpretentious flowers. She aimed at enhancing the whole Provence details for all their guests coming from all over the world and we managed : family & friends were so happy and amazed by this quiet, natural, elegant arrangement.

Dotty was dressed in a gorgeous Jenny Packham gown that made her so beautiful.

To avoid a too sophisticated marriage ambiance, we decided to offer a family style dinner  where guests can share several meals. We started the menu with an assortment of fabulous French cheeses nicely set on wooden boards and French charcuterie. The main course was a mix of lamb slowly cooked during 7 hours (a local famous dish) and a tasteful seabeam with pesto & morilles mushrooms risotto and French ratatouille side.
For all food lovers, we served a range of tasty, gourmet desserts.

Our wedding agency planned everything and to extend this incredible day, the DJ played all night long until early morning.
